As far as romance goes, she's had a crush on Harry Potter for a long time, something that only increased in ferocity as not only did he become a Hogwarts champion, but also started to receive lots of female attention. However, Ginny really isn't the type to let some unrequited crush to limit her, especially not romantically, and she's open to anything and everything as far as that particular area goes.

So Barnabas is what people call a gossip, which considering he runs the most successful newspaper in Britain would probably be the truth. However much he might protest, Barny would run a good story no matter what it cost him in love and friendship, so if you have any secrets you would like to stay away from the public, better give him a miss. He can be loyal when he wants to be though, and smooth too. Charm is necessary for a successful businessman like Barnabas.

Well if it appeared in a column, or a sub-editor slipped in a nasty line; everything comes to rest on Barny's shoulders sooner or later. It's his paper and therefore the blame is his alone. For this reason, Barny has the enmity of several witches and wizards for revealing things that they would have preferred to keep hidden to the world. Their stance (always, always pro-Ministry) can cause some to protest about impartiality, but Barny wouldn't place an awful lot of value on their heads.

Barny has a wife. A lovely, lovely wife who has given him two children. If anyone would like to play her, you have my blessing.

Ana is prejudiced and judgemental, so to be her friend you're going to have to be impressive and more likely than not pureblooded. Half-bloods she can stand but muggleborns… no way. She is fiery too, a lot to handle and if you get in her way she won’t stop for pleasantries. With all this, the hat still put her in Gryffindor because she’s courageous and she stands up for what she believes in, but unlike Slytherins she is not cruel or ambitious. Friends, enemies… she’ll have plenty of both! I’d love for her to have a boyfriend, someone who can deal with her crazy and make a joke of it at the same time.

Evander is awfully shy and it's difficult to get to know him because he can be so adverse to meeting new people. In fact, the only way to gain his friendshp is probably to take the iniative yourself. Having said that, like most Hufflepuffs, Evander will prove himself a good and loyal friend. He genuinely means well, but if you need him to defend you, forget it because he's never stood up to anyone ever. As far as enemies are concerned, they would be difficult to make because Evander would never hurt someone intentionally. However, he's dating the prettiest girl in the whole year which some people find difficult to swallow.

To all intents and purposes, Elodie can be seen, at least on the surface, as a beach girl. She loves the sun, love the effect it has on her skin and on her hair. Her gaggle of friends are likeminded. There’s fire under the surface though, mainly created by pureblood elitist attitudes she so often encounters at school. The daughter of a squib and a muggle, the odds of being accepted based on blood status were slim, so Elodie had to find other ways of being accepted. Respect had to be earned, and it wouldn’t be if she laid down and let everyone talk how they liked of people with ‘lower’ blood status.

In terms of friends, Elodie is extremely social and loves meeting new people. As the daughter of a muggle and a squib, she's open to meeting all kinds of people with any blood type. If she likes you, you'll be her friend. It's kind of that simple really.

Elodie isn't the kind of person to make enemies as quickly and easily as she makes friends, but she attracts lots of them all the same. Anybody who makes a dig at her blood type, or just discriminates in general, is definitely on her list.

Relationships are very open. She doesn't consider herself to be unattractive and is pretty into guys. She's had a few boyfriends in the past but nothing has ever felt like it could work long-term. Hit me up with ideas if you have them!

I can't imagine that we'd have too much between these two. Lorelei's a mouthy Gryffindor with two brothers in Hufflepuff. Lorelei's in Harry's year, but she dislikes Harry. Lorelei's been on her house quidditch team, but every year she's made it, she's usually kicked off for running her mouth too much, usually within two weeks of having made the team. I can't imagine that there would be a whole lot for these two. Have you any thoughts?


TALLY BLACK & GINNY
Now, this is my best offer. Tally and Ginny will not get along. Ever. Tally will despise Ginny as a pathetic blood traitor, and would never admit to being related to her, no matter how distantly. Tally will have a grudge against Ginny for existing, which they'll probably have lots of opportunities to nourish, because they're in the same year and because of how frequently the Gryffindors have class with the Slytherins. Duels, pranks, revenge? Yes, no, maybe so?


TOM RIDDLE & GINNY
I know that Ginny has as much of an innate hatred for Riddle as Harry does, but what do you think of trying to figure out a plot in which Riddle uses Ginny, like he does in the Chamber of Secrets? Perhaps not in the same way, but maybe he puts her under the imperius curse at one point and forces her to do some unspeakable things that way? I don't know, it's up to you.

Ohmygosh yes! It'd be like the much cooler, sneakier Harry/Malfoy enmity of the fifth year! Definitely some duels and I love the idea of them pranking one another (Ginny being the sister of the infamous Gred and Forge)! We must do threading!

For some weird reason, the thought of doing a bit of a Chamber of Secrets reflection thrills me! I'd love for her to be an integral part of Tom's plot so that it sort of salutes the second book (kind of like having two Triwizard champions from Hogwarts). The imperius curse is definitely a good idea, but I'm not too sure what overall role she would play.

What if Tom used the Imperius Curse on Ginny when he's trying to frame Luna for setting the basilisk on muggleborns? He might make her say some unpleasant things about her best friend, and give her very good reason to loathe his guts.

If he did that, she would absolutely hate him unconditionally. She'd also do everything she could to ruin him, I think Ginny could be very vengeful given the opportunity, she just wouldn't know what she was getting into.

I think that perhaps these two may have some issues, because Lorelei's mum is a muggle and she's damned proud of that fact and she's likely to punch anyone who says that muggles don't deserve respect. So, perhaps some conflict between these two?

Who does Ana support in the Triwizard Tournament? Because if it's Tom, then I think they could get along rather well. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure what we could do for these two.

TALITHA BLACK & ANA
Tally's a pureblood supremacist, and one of her close male friends (who I think will at some point become her boyfriend) is one of the co-founders of the Silverblood Society (who eventually combine with the Knights of Walpurgis to form the Death Eaters), and Tally is definitely passionate about blood purity. I think that Tally would have issues being friends with a Gryffindor, and besides, aside from the house tension, there is also the matter of the age gap, so I don't think that they would be friends. However, perhaps friendly acquaintances?

Definitely, I can picture Ana as being quite surprised that many people in her house don't share her view, but she's not particularly malicious about it; it's just the way she thinks of the world. But I'd love to do a bit of conflict!

ANA and TOM

She's neutral, because if she supports Tom the house will ostracise her and if she supports Harry she'll lose any 'friends' she might have in Slytherin, so I'm not sure if we could do anything for them.

ANA and TALITHA

If the Silverblood Society was run by a Ravenclaw, Ana would be perfectly happy to join but she'd be graduating this year so next year's plot wouldn't really apply. But I can see her enjoying the occasional company of Tally and her (soon-to-be) boyfriend!

Would Lo know about Laura, or is it like Lo's situation with Tom Fitzgerald - something that they didn't even tell their siblings about? Lo would probably spend quite a bit of time with Ev, because she doesn't have any of her own friends and would feel the need to grievously injure anyone who hurt her baby brother, whether it was verbally, magically or physically that the individual hurt him. Most of the time, she'd probably just hang out with him at social events.

A meek fourth year Hufflepuff isn't of much interest to Tom Riddle unless said fourth year can be of use to him, which at the moment, I don't think Ev would be.

Tally likes to bully individuals who don't support the pureblood ethic. And Lo punched Tally's big brother for suggesting that her parents had committed suicide because she was so stupid, so maybe Tally decides to get revenge by tormenting Lo's baby brother? It could be the start of a nasty feud between the Blacks and the Knights.

Definitely, I get the feeling that at least these two siblings would closely relate as I think she'd naturally be very protective of him and he'd be glad of it. I think maybe it could be something that they shared with each other but maybe not Atticus because of his bossy/head of the family attitude?

Ah I like your thinking, an eye for an eye, a sibling for a sibling. And I think Ev would be quite easy prey for Tally, she could make his life an absolute living hell. But I can kind of picture what Tally does as a whole lot worse than just punching someone in the face!

EV and TOM

All I can think of is his name whispered in Tom's ear by Alphard or Tally as a blood traitor or an easy victim.

Soooo Will is Headboy, was a 'Puff prefect for four years and is Captain of the Quidditch Team. It's kind of his duty to know every student int he school and I feel like he may have made a specific nudge to try to become friends with Ev, especially since he's on the shy side. Totally! Will would probably hold regular practices for anyone who wanted to better their skills weather they're on the team or not! He wants everyone to have equal chance and Quidditch rules and strategy aren't taught elsewhere. Also, because flying is a first-year class, he feels many people loose touch with it years later.

Since we no longer have a Luna for Tom to try and incriminate, we could do one of two things: 1) Tom uses the imperius curse to have Ginny try and incriminate Hagrid instead, or 2) Tom uses the imperius curse on Ginny and has her write threatening messages on the wall in blood. Maybe we could even do both.
