Description: Andre is fairly small for his age, with an oval shaped face, short nose, clear sky blue eyes, that are shaped like half almonds, and are framed by long dark lashes. His mouth is small, with full pink lips, a large chin, and ears. His skin is pale, with a dusting of golden freckles across his nose and cheeks. He has red hair, which he keeps short, it tends to be rather thick, and tend to curl at the ears when it gets too long, forming little "wings" a fact which prompted his friends to give him the Nickname "Hermes" in honor of the Greek God's winged boots.
Andre is very casual in his dress code, and in fact can appear rather sloppy, rolling up his robe sleeves and leaving his tie undone. (A fact which his elder brother is always getting on his case about.
Alliance: He doesn't honestly care about blood status, he doesn't even mind Muggles, the only people he can't stand, are people like his little brother Francis, who have no sense of humor!

Personality:
Andre is a cheerful, intelligent boy, with a knack for fixing or inventing. Truly his capabilities go far past simple charms, (although Charms are his strongest suit.) he's also adept at Transfiguration. One would think that Potions would be another passion, but Andre finds very little excitement in "making soup".
Andre is not that big an eater, (at least not when you're talking good food. He can eat candy by the ton.) He's very picky about what he will and will not eat. He'll often only drink tea at mealtimes, (if he doesn't just skip the meal all together.) and then eat candy when he gets back to the common room.
Andre's Best friends are Ursus Black and Hesta Banks, though he's become rather jealous of Ursus lately, as Andre really likes Hesta, but its obvious that she's in love with Ursus. Ursus meanwhile, doesn't seem to notice Hesta's affections as anything more than friendly gestures. (Something that annoys Andre even more.)
Andre's relations with his siblings are:
Older Brother: Not that great, they often fight and argue about homework and grades whenever they're together. He usually just ignores.
Sister: Very good, they're best friends, sadly they rarely get to see each other as she's in Gryffindor.
Younger Brother (Francis): Not that great, Francis tends to get on Andre's last nerve, and he in turn takes a little too much pleasure in making the boy suffer.
He loves all his siblings deep down, however his sister is the only one he seems to be able to stand beyond mere toleration...

History:
Before Hogwarts:
Born the third child, and second son of the family, he had a brother who was five years older than him, and a sister who was just a year older, and he was proceeded two years later by his youngest brother.
Growing up, Andre was close to all his siblings, but with his sister, being so close to him in age, he shared a special bond. The two were always extremely close, and as small children they even shared a special language between just the two of them.
When his sister first went away to Hogwarts after receiving her letter, it was very hard on Andre, and he missed her terribly.
His older Brother was a good friend until after he started school when Andre was six, at that time, they grew apart, as Andre was so young, and his brother was away so much.
Francis, Andre's younger brother, and the baby of the family started out okay, And Andre and his Sister would play with him. But after a while the favoritism and Fran's serious attitude drove playful, light hearted Andre away. But it wasn't until their sister left, and it was just Andre and Fran left that their relationship really soured, as Andre turned to Fran to help ease the loneliness his sister's absence brought on, only to find that Francis refused to play most games, and wanted to read and talk about adult things instead. Annoyed, Andre soon found the only amusing thing about his baby brother, was his temper. And so the teasing and Fran Baiting began.
Luckily, before Francis could die of an aneurism, or the Andre's parents were forced to ground him for life, his Hogwarts Letter arrived.
On the train, Andre met Ursus Black, and the two soon became best friends.
First Year:
After being sorted into Ravenclaw with Ursus, the two started their Hogwarts' careers off famously by getting lost in the dungeons, and running afoul of the Defense Teacher, Professor Snape. Andre's brother chewed him out for this, (despite the fact that he'd really done nothing wrong.) and Ursus and Andre spent the next few weeks walking on egg shells. The Boys met Hesta Banks, a clumsy, but sweet Muggleborn in their year, the three children became good friends. In late November, while attending the Slytherin vs. Ravenclaw game, one of the Slytherin Beaters hit a Bludger into the stands, it smashed Andre right in the face, braking his nose and knocking him out, he got a bad concussion from that, and was in the hospital wing recovering for three weeks. Christmas came and went quietly enough, Andre was still recovering from the concussion, and thus slept through most of it. However, when they got back there was a crisis as Ursus' Puffskein was kidnapped by the Slytherins. The two friends launched a Midnight Rescue. Only for Andre to get caught on the first floor by two Prefects. He soon learned that Ursus was caught too. Luckily however, Ursus's older Brother was able to get Leo back for them, and they eventually were released from their detentions. Andre skipped the rest of the Quidditch matches that year. Trusting Ursus to give him the in depth play-by-play when he got back, within the safety of their common room. Easter Holidays Andre got chewed out by his family for getting detention. Ursus cheered him up upon arriving back at school however by letting him help prank the rest of their housemates with him. Andre did Excellent on his Charms and Transfiguration exams, but nearly flunked Potions and History of Magic, only just squeaking by.
Summer After First Year:
Andre spent with his sister teasing Francis, and owling Hesta and Ursus. At the end of the summer, while school shopping, Andre's father surprised him by getting the boy his own broom, getting it customized with special colors and an unbreakable charm. The Occasion was ruined later when his father brought up Andre joining the House Quidditch Team. Andre didn't have the heart to tell him that he was afraid to even watch Quidditch anymore...
Second Year:
Ursus and Andre spent a lot of time flying the grounds on their brooms. Exploring and racing each other, all the while giving the Quidditch Pitch a wide berth. Andre realized that he had a crush on Hesta... and then realized that she was in love with Ursus the oblivious...
Summer After Second Year
Andre, still love sick and depressed, was treated to his father's "I understand, I'm just disappointed" speech about how Andre hadn't tried out for the Quidditch team. Even more depressed he tried to keep up correspondence with Ursus and Hesta. Then, he got the bad news:
Francis was going to Hogwarts.
I'm sure he'll be in Slytherin, knowing him... Andre had wrote to Ursus saying.
Third Year:
Worst news: Francis was sorted into Ravenclaw, and Ursus likes him! More annoyed and depressed than ever, Andre spent the first week mulling around. However, one can not be best friends with Ursus Black and expect to stay sullen. Ursus eventually drug him back out of his shell, and then ever since the tournament was announced the two boys have been eagerly rooting Ursus's friend Harry on, and trying to figure out a way to get inside the Durmstrang Ship...
