Arriving to the Quidditch pitch, the Gryffindor Head Boy took a seat in the crowd of spectators. He hadn't seen any of his good friends yet, and was perfectly content sitting by himself in the back row of where the Gryffindors normally sat during Quidditch matches. Truth be told, Theo was peeved that there wasn't any Quidditch his last year of Hogwarts. He was also peeved that even if there had been, Harry Potter would've been captain. Oh well, Theo couldn't be everything. it just annoyed him because Harry was a year younger and all. Not that he had a problem with Harry, in fact, he didn't mind the younger Gryffindor. They were on fairly decent terms and Theo would be rooting for his housemate in the Triwizard Tournament.
He was quite dressed up. The werewolf had his school robes on, but his face was painted in red and gold for Gryffindor and he planned to cheer quite loudly for Harry whenever the opportunity presented itself.
Theo carried a large bag of popcorn he'd snagged from the kitchens in one hand, and a large bullhorn with the Gryffindor lion painted on it in the other hand. Waiting for more people to arrive or the event to begin, he muttered under his breath, "C'mon, let's get this show on the road." Lazily flicking his gaze back and forth between the pitch and the entrance to the stands, he resigned himself to munching on his popcorn in bored silence.
C'mon people, let's hurry this up.
If things didn't get more exciting soon, Theo would no doubt have to go find his own adventure to entertain himself.

[/i][/b]” The voice of a male behind her caught her attention and she turned around to see a boy with his face painted in Gryffindor colours. He had popcorn and a bullhorn. It didn't take a Ravenclaw to figure out who he would be cheering for. She just hoped that he didn't use that bullhorn too close to her, otherwise she might turn around and set it on fire.
Unlike the majority of the school, she wasn't here to support a Champion. She was here to watch and try to ignore the secret hope that Riddle might get stepped on or roasted. She didn't think of herself as malicious or vindictive, she was just prejudiced against Slytherins and thought there was something intangible about Riddle that put her on edge. Every single time she was near him. She didn't like being constantly on edge. Riddle put her on edge as much as the Ministry of Magic and her grandparents combined.

Tanis her eyes at the number of people supporting Harry Potter. At the moment she was in a sea of red and gold. She stood out, with her skin-tight black sweater, black skinny-jeans, knee-high black boots, and black fedora. In this lighting her hair looked nearly jet-black. She was the shadow in the crowd of Gryffindors. She nearly chuckled at the notion, but as she was a fairly stoic person, she didn't. She was working her way across the back rows of the Quidditch stands to where Slytherin house normally sat when she heard one guy shout out, “Come on, let's get this show on the road!” She turned her head and saw a seventh year with his face painted half red and half gold. Tanis rolled her eyes once more, scorning the seventh year for his blind support of Potter.
Tanis at last walked into the section where a majority of Ravenclaws and Slytherins were sitting. She found somewhere in the back to stand and hopefully get a good view of Riddle fighting a dragon. She wished she could say that she was unbiased… however that clearly wasn't possible. Her support of Tom Riddle was undeniable and her hatred of that arrogant prick Potter evident. She could already see some Slytherins with ‘Team Riddle’ buttons and posters and Gryffindors with ‘Team Potter’ merchandise. Tanis smirked at the coming chaos among Hogwarts students. Division was already rampant among the students, Tanis not excluded in this bias, but the choosing of two Hogwarts champions would cause that division to spread into the houses themselves.
She could hardly wait for the beautiful chaos which would emerge from civil war within the school. However, her focus at the moment was towards this first task and praying for Tom to win it. The Durmstrang champion seemed like someone she would possibly get along with, but also fairly strange and suspicious. The Beauxbatons was just some airheaded blonde pretty-girl. Then of course there was Potter, the King of Arrogance and Stupidity. He had not one ounce of her support. Tom was quite clearly the one she had support for. It would be interesting, however, to see how each of the champions would deal with the task at hand, collecting an egg from a certain species of dragon. She just prayed that Tom did well with the Hungarian Horntail. It was known to be vicious… but then again, the serpents always beat the lizards. Tanis did not doubt Tom would be successful in this task.
"Come on Tom," Tanis muttered. "You can do this." If he failed, Tanis was totally asking a non-lethal snake to bite him multiple times. Perhaps after this task, Potter could receive a 'mysterious' bite from a venomous snake...
((Added 5/26/12))
Tanis watched from her shadowy corner at the first battle. It was the Durmstrang girl with the (at least in Tanis' eyes) undeniably awesome hair. The announcer called out the names of the challenger, "Emiliya Dragonov will now be facing the Ukrainian Ironbelly! As soon as the girl entered the area, Tanis noticed at once that she had no wand. What does she plan on doing? Tanis mentally questioned herself. The Durmstang girl seemed to be ignoring everyone but the dragon as she moved quickly throughout the arena, dodging the blows from the dragon. She was moving almost unnaturally fast for a normal wizard. Tanis picked up on this almost immediately, noting that she may have had some tainted blood in her. Judging by the speed in which she was moving, she would maybe guess vampire. Not full vampire though, half or less. Tanis intended to keep this too herself. No doubt someone else may have figured it out as well. Tanis didn't need to bother with blabbing about to random people out of petty spite. The Durmstrang girl didn't appear to pose an immediate threat to Tanis Gaunt. Tom Riddle, perhaps, but not Tanis.
Suddenly the dragon attempted to flatten the girl with it's tail. The girl was about to get out of the way, but she wasn't quick enough and got her leg crushed by the dragon. Some gasps in the crowd emerge and Tanis was pretty sure some random Hufflepuff fainted. Tanis had a neutral expression, curious as to what the Durmstrang champion would do. Almost immediately after, the dragon began to breathe fire. The girl crawled out of the way before she got completely charred. It looked as if she got half-burned by the dragon. Tanis was so focused on the dragons attacks that it wasn't until that moment she realized the Durmstrang champion had the egg. She let out a scream of pure pain and agony before passing out. Ministry officials were able to subdue the Ukrainian Ironbelly and get the unconscious champion out of the arena, most likely to the Hospital Wing. Tanis genuinely hoped the girl would be alright. All of that looked pretty painful, and the champion seemed like she would make this entire tournament interesting for her.
Next was the idiot Potter. He was facing the Chinese Fireball. The moment she looked at the bright red dragon, she immediately prayed for Potter to suffer a worse fate than the Durmstrang girl. Please let him burn in the bright red and gold that he loves so damn much... Tanis silently prayed, something she hardly ever did. If he got the egg, she was totally sending a snake to bite Potter in the leg... she was still debating whether it would be a lethal or nonlethal snake. When Potter walked into the arena, Tanis noticed that the dragon was not in his line of sight. Tanis smirked as she watched the movements of Potter and the Dragon. Potter tried to creep up on the golden egg, but as he began to work his way up, the dragon popped up and leaped towards Potter. Potter moved out of the flames path and cast a spell that summoned a flock of birds. Tanis furrowed her brow in confusion. She hadn't expected that, period. "What the..." Tanis muttered under her breath. Apparently the Chinese Fireball was just as confused as Tanis. But some fire got the birds out of the way and it could focus it's attention on Potter. Burn him, burn him till he's a crisp! Tanis mentally shouted.
Potter was running towards the egg when the dragon focused on him again. "Confundo!" Potter shouted. The dragon at once seemed to forget what exactly was going on. It fell backwards, away from the eggs, still confused as hell. Potter slowly worked his way to the eggs when suddenly the dragon's tail swung around and hit him. Tanis chuckled with amusement as Potter hit a boulder. The Gryffindors all gasped and feared for Potter's safety while most of Slytherin house found that very amusing. The dragon was still dazed, but now seemed to understand she was protecting the eggs. Suddenly, Potter summoned his patronus. Tanis almost as once figured out what he was doing, and was frankly surprised he was smart enough to do that. While the dragon chased the patronus, Potter worked his way to the egg. As the patronus started to fade, the dragon began to focus more on Potter. It let out a long flame in Potter's direction. Hit him this time! Tanis begged in her mind. But Potter cast Aguamenti and doused the flames in water. "Damn it..." Tanis hissed. As the streams of water and fire continued to meet, Potter worked his way to the top of the nest where he could see the eggs. He fell to his knees, cast a knock-back spell, and grabbed the egg. He at once jumped out of sight, clutching the egg to his chest. The dragon was at once subdued by officials and Potter escorted from the arena.
Tanis was sending a lethal snake his way later... for sure.
The next dragon, a welsh green was chained into the arena and the Beauxbatons bimbo entered the arena. Only moments later the Welsh Green shot fire at her. She pulled the same trick as Potter and cast Aguamenti on the fire. She shouted, "Accio Lyre." Tanis narrowed her eyes. Was she really going to be a little fairy-princess and play music to get it to fall asleep? She wasn't going to battle it head on? Sure it somewhat craftier, but she could have at least made it interesting for the audience. She doused another flame right as the Lyre landed in her hands. She then began to strike the strings with her little fairy-fingers. She even started to sing. Tanis rolled her eyes at the Beauxbatons girl. She dragon began to slowly fall asleep until it fell to the ground with a thump. The Beauxbatons girl quickly took the golden egg and hurried out of the arena. The Welsh Green was levitated out of the arena, as to not wake it and cause audience casualties.
Now it was Tom’s turn.
Though Tanis would never admit it, she was actually very nervous for Tom. She knew he had great magic skill… but Tanis recalled what happened to the Durmstrang girl, and that girl seemed to be pretty powerful as well, despite not using magic in the arena. As Tom entered the arena, a girl right next to Tanis screamed at the top of her lungs, ”SLYTHERIN IS OUR KING!” Tanis winced and held her hand to ear, the one the random Slytherin girl just screamed in. Tanis glared at the girl, who dared to roll her eyes at Tanis’ annoyed reaction. Tanis looked down to her left, seeing a snake slithering next to her. Tanis muttered under her breath, in Parseltongue, “Bite that girl.” The snake did as commanded and the girl let out a slight squeal of pain. She at once limped away from Tanis and sat with some random boy. Tanis smirked, bent down, and pick up the snake. It sat on her shoulder with Tanis stroking it softly. She let out a small praise for the snake in Parseltongue and turned her attention to the battle between Tom and the Hungarian Horntail.
The dragon sent a blast of fire towards time, and Tom pulled the same trick as Potter and the Beauxbatons girl. ”Come on… you could’ve been more original…” Tanis muttered in slight disappointment. But instead of just stopping like the other two, he kept walking and looking confident. Smoke and steam filled the air, some of the blast reaching even Tanis. The Horntail’s rageful roar filled the stadium. She noted that Tom was trembling. Tanis’ eyes narrowed. Was he afraid? No… it must have been adrenaline… right? A second blast of fire came and Tom again doused it in water from his wand. The smoke and steam reduced visibility of what was going on, and would probably negatively affect what Tom was doing. The dragoness tried to bite him and tore some of his armor with her great teeth. “Shit… it got a taste of blood…” Tanis swore under her breath. Things would be a lot harder. Once a Horntail got into that blood frenzy…
Tom was able to get out of the way and wedge himself into a little crevice. The dragoness tried to get her head into the crevice, but it proved to be too narrow for her head. She reached in with her claws to try and get Tom. She couldn’t see Tom anymore, just the dragoness digging into his hiding place. Finally, Tom was able to climb out of his crevice. As the Horntail sent cones of fire at Tom, Tom doused the flames in water. ”Bombarda Maxima!” Tom shouted. The spell hit the dragon in the face, ticking it off even more. Tanis gripped the edge of the stands so tightly that her already pale knuckles turned even more white. The snake on her shoulder told her calm down… but Tanis couldn’t. She was growing more and more afraid for Tom by the second, even though she knew he could handle himself. “Accio Broom!” Tom shouted… but a few seconds later he shouted, “Accio Firebolt.” This was his back-up, Tanis realized. If all else failed, he needed and escape. Tom ran for the eggs, but as soon as he saw that the dragon was catching up to him, he cast Reducto on a pile of rocks near the dragon. It was pelted with debris and screeched with rage. Tom seemed to realize that the broom summoning had failed, and turned to face the dragon. He sent a spray of water right at the dragon’s face.
“Ooh…” Tanis muttered under her breath. “That’s gonna piss it off…” The snake on her shoulder nodded in agreement. Suddenly the dragon cried out in even more pain, nearly paralyzed and full of rage. He slowly backed away from the dragoness. Then the dragon roared in pain and sent a stream of fire up into the stands, near the side that Tanis was on. In fact, it nearly got her. She jumped away from her corner and glared at the field. “Alright. I don’t care how hurt you are after this Tom. You’re getting bitten by my new snake buddy,” Tanis growled. The snake nuzzled its head against Tanis’ neck. Tom reached the top of the nest and grabbed the egg. As he made his way to the exit of the arena, she could tell Tom was slowly losing consciousness. Come on Riddle, stay here… don’t pass out… Tanis prayed. Suddenly she heard the snap of metal and realized at once that the dragon was free. She looked down to see if Tom would do anything… but at once realized her prayers hadn’t been answered and that Tom was unconscious. Tanis at once felt her chest swell in fear for Tom and her house. Tanis watch as the Horntail began to climb the stands, dangerously close to where she and her house were sitting.
“Not good…”

[/i] fighting a dragon. Unfortunately things didn't work out too well for the girl. Even the supposedly emotionless Gryffindor couldn't help wincing as everything went down in flames for the Durmstrang girl.
Next up was Potter, and Lorelei found herself applauding when Potter managed to get the golden egg and survive. He'd used some clever tricks, such as the patronus charm as a distraction, and she – begrudgingly – had to admit to herself that perhaps Potter did have a brain after all. She wouldn't outright congratulate him, but she didn't feel quite so ashamed of Gryffindor's champion now. Although, from her experience, he was an egotistical jerk, he was also relatively clever too.
The Beauxbatons' girl was a bore. She put the dragon to sleep, along with half of the spectators. Lorelei didn't exactly feel especially energetic after the siren's song. The two people on the bench to her right were using one another as a pillow and both of them were snoring quite loudly. Lorelei would have been content to just sit and let them miss the dragon battle, but their snoring was irritating, so she roughly elbowed the one closest to her.
As Riddle began his battle, Lorelei found herself leaning forward with the rest of them. Riddle seemed like a one-trick pony at first, using the same spell several times in a row. He only succeeded in filling the stadium with smoke and making the entire battle hard to see. But that certainly got everyone's attention. Nearly everyone was leaning as close to the battle as they could, trying to catch a glimpse through the smoke.
The stadium was filled with shrieks and bellows from both the dragon and the crowd. Then, the beast had Riddle cornered in the rocks. He managed to get out, and sent several spells and curses towards the dragon. He managed to get the dragon egg, but she could see something amiss. His arm was not covered in green fabric, but a red-brown colour. After a moment, she realized that it wasn't the fabric, it was blood.
Her eyes widened as she realized that the dragon had managed to get a taste of blood, and that seemed to be the reason why she was so irate now. As Tom staggered out of the stadium with his golden egg, there was the sound of metal snapping and Lorelei's heart stopped when she realized what was going on.
The dragon was free and had been given a taste for human blood, and with a single glance back at Riddle, she found that his body now lay on the ground, and from a distance he looked completely lifeless.
Her entire body filling with dread and she felt her pulse quickening with fear. People in the stands were screaming in terror as the dragon began its ascent to the stands where her prey hid. The blonde-haired Gryffindor could only manage to utter two words. “Not good.”
