Nicknames: Calling her Lydia is a way to get hexed (Unless your a relative and she's in trouble). Rather she is called Cassie, Cass, or the most common- Pea. (Which Pea first hated with a fiery passion and was angry her father had ever nick named her after such a vile bodily function, but has grown fond of. Just don't make fun of her for it.)

Worst Subject: Despite it's supposed impossibility, Pea will find a way to burn even water. Potions is not something Pea is remotely good at and she struggles.
Boggart: Oddly enough, Pea's boggart is a werewolf.
Worst Memory: Pea's boggart to the fact that she unfortunately caught sight of her honorary uncle, Remus, when he was in werewolf state when she was five and he attempted to attack her, luckily Pea's father and other honorary uncles, Uncle James and Uncle Peter weren't too far off and they heard her screams before Remus could bite her.
Marlene still gave the three men an earful when Pea came home crying with a broken arm. It took many weeks and one on one talks with both her mother and father and a bit if bribery to accept Remus again. Now Pea loves Uncle Remus and is against prejudice of werewolves, though she still harbors terror of them from that night.
Patronus: A hamster is Pea's Patronus. Uncle Peter (Her favorite Uncle) still spoils her for the patronus' close resemblance to his animagi.
Best Memory: Too date, Pea's most cherished memory was when she mastered the Patronus early on with the help of her Uncle Peter during the summer holidays after third year. He'd been so proud and taken Pea out for ice cream. (Pea sometimes thinks that Uncle Peter considers her the daughter he never had.)

Description:
Despite her brothers' tall genes, Pea seems to have lucked out- her nickname fits her short figure quite well as she stands at 5'2". Thankfully, her arms and legs both are slender and give her a taller appearance. Pea's body is filling out at she gets older and she takes after her mother in having quite the curvy body. (Of course Sirius Black would go after the one with curves...) Despite this, Pea is always annoyed by how broad her shoulders are- a bit disproportionate to the rest of her.
Thankfully, Pea successfully hides her shoulders quite well with her long, slightly wavy, dark honey brown hair. Going several inches down her back, Pea is pleased and plans to grow it out even further- long hair with waves was always her preference. (Unfortunately, a prank four years ago caused her to have to cut her hair to a pixie style, forcing her to restart the growing process. She still mourns the loss of how long her hair could have been by now!)
Pea's face is tall, with her chin pointed and forehead thinning out. With the help of her mother and her own magical prowess, Pea has managed to escape most of the typical hormonal rages that is acne- though one bout of acne attacked her near the end of third year and she only barely escaped it before the next school year began. He eyes are big and a murky sort of green, from her mother.
Alliance: Pea is rather neutral herself, not particularly having a problem with muggles or muggle borns, but not caring enough to make a move. She's more concerned about her brother. When it comes down to it, she'll be juggling between all the different opinion in the household and trying to hold everyone together- and safe.
Strengths:
- Loyalty - If she decided to be loyal to you, she will be. Unfortunately this becomes a problem when multiple people she's loyal too are all going in different directions.
- Determination - Pea sets her mind too it, and she will do it. Such as her determination to continue in Potions past N.E.W.T level despite her struggles with the subject.
- Thirst for Knowledge - Pea take all sorts of classes, merely because she's interested, not because it's essential to her future.

- Stubborn - Going along with her determination, Pea never knows quite when to stop in her pushing. It usually takes something big to get her off your back if she's decided she wants something from you.
- Over Achiever- In her attempt to learn so much and her determination to do so, Pea becomes an over achiever who over works herself constantly.

Personality:
Pea is, above all, a family person. The most important things too her are her two little brothers, followed by her parents and (honorary) uncles, aunts and cousins. She loves them all fiercely and will always have their back. (Unless it's a prank war. Then it is every man for himself!) Also, if you truly become close to her, she will adopt you into her family as a brother or sister- friends are friends, but family are the ones she loves.
However, her unbreakable loyalty can be a burden, with one brother seeming too fall away and join those who are 'evil' by the terms of her other family members, she is constantly frustrated and worried for her little brother. However, this and her personal beliefs will not stop her if she has to protect her brother herself- screw morals. Family comes first.
On the subject of her own morals, Pea has always been very open minded. She sees the argument both for and against muggles and muggle borns. Allowing Muggles to have even a glimpse of magic could prove catastrophic considering the weapons of mass destruction muggles now wield. It only makes sense to want to keep the muggles away, in order to preserve their protection and peace. However, Pea also understand the thirst muggle borns can have- they have a right to learn- it is their birth right to know who they are and just what incredible things they can accomplish. Personally, Pea thinks the best way to handle the situation would be to take muggle-borns from their families when they are born, and take them to be raised in the wizarding world. Perhaps they could pronounce the child dead to the parents or simply wipe their memeories. Pea sees the cruelty and agony that could be created by separating mother, father and child- however, she knows it would serve to keep the wizarding world safe while not harming muggle borns.
Pea doesn't just spend her time thinking of such issue though, school work is a huge part of her life. Since she was little, Pea thirsted for knowledge. Everything and anything will spark her curiosity, as a result she had an enormous work load. Arithmancy, Ancient Runes, Alchemy, Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, Astronomy, Herbology, and Defense Against the Dark Arts fill her schedule. The other classes History of Magic, Divination, Care of Magical Creatures and Muggle Studies were not dropped completely willingly. It was only through a great deal of arguments with her siblings and parents that she lightened her work load. History of Magic she figured she could simply read on her own- anyways, she was not one of the few fortunate students who could stay awake during Professor Binns lectures, so it was simply a waste of time. Pea's parents and several other relatives all told her Divination was a waste, and while she found it fascinating, she finally consented that it was to be given the boot. Muggle Studies interested her, however she figured it wasn't that important- the class was a bit of a joke anyway.
Care of Magical Creatures was a different story- it was the only class she was happy to drop, and did so after only two years of the subject. While she enjoyed normal animals, she found herself a bit skittish around the more... conspicuous animals. Her experience with Remus' years before still scares her away from most large and menacing looking creatures.
School and Politics don't completely rule Pea's life. (Though she does dedicate most of her time to them!) Another passion of hers is quidditch. While Pea is not the quidditch fanatic her brothers are, she still find the sport enjoyable and she loves to play with her brothers. The moment she could, Pea tried out for the Gryffindor Quidditch Team. Finally, Pea uses some of her precious free time engaging with her brothers' in a prank war. Pea's pranks are few, however when she does join in (usually as revenge against Alician's multiple smaller pranks), she shows of her prodigious skill in Charms quite magnificently. Unlike her brothers', Pea normally does not deal the first blow, nor does she prank many people outside her family.
Now we must make sure that it is known that Pea is not all sunshine and daisies. Her open and flexible view of the world gives her a moral compass that she is more than willing to toss to the side to protect her family- she will fight. Rules have no effect on Pea. With her insistent studying, Pea has gained quite the mass of ways to hurt someone if need be, her summer reading of history always giving her most interesting methods. Make no mistake- Pea can be dangerous. Not normally, but if provoked the snake will strike.
Not only is she dangerous in extreme situations, but Pea is plain old crabby and mean a good deal of the time. With so much work, she gets stressed. Stressed means her patience is always hanging on by mere threads, threats and insults ready to bubble to the surface. Try and steer clear if she's in a bad mood- when she's in a good mood it's much more better. While she's a bit quiet around non-family, she will be perfectly friendly and can prove to be quite witty. (Though she does sometimes take it too far!)

Pet: Pea's pet is a a black cat that goes by the completely unoriginal name Mittens (Pea decided someone in their family needed a normal name.). Mittens (Often call Mitty) considers herself the queen of the house and does not tolerate Sirius attempting to chase her around- Sirius usually ends up with a bloody nose. Also, Peter has learned to never transform is Mittens is around, despite Pea's attempts to hold her cat down. Pea finds it all quite hilarious.

Social Class: As a black, Pea's family is very despite Sirius' disowning. (After all, Sirius got a fair bit of money before running off.) However, the family is not nearly as wealthy as the extended family.
First Magic: Despite her brothers' early sign of magic, Pea showed no signs until she was four. Her parents fretted over her magical abilities (Especially as Alician showed signs so early.) Until, only minutes after Ursus' birth, she showed a sign. Ursus sneezed and made his hair change colors. In response, Pea giggled and, in the midst of laughter, changed her own hair to match her brothers'.
Sorting:
"Black, Lydia!" Professor McGonagall called. Pea didn't respond right away, and then felt a slight twinge of annoyance amist her terror and anxiety that she was called Lydia. Pea much preferred her middle name, thank you very much.
Slowly the girl made her way to the hat, panicking. Where would she be put? She wanted to make her Daddy and Uncles' proud by being in their house, though Mum was a bit more lenient and assured her there was no pressure. However, Pea had no older siblings by which to compare experiences with. What if the hat decided Pea was too stupid, cowardly, witless and lazy to be in any of the houses? Where would she go?
Behind her, she knew her three honarary cousins would be. She was the first to be sorted. All of them would be watching her. What if she was placed alone? All of these fears rushed through her mind until Harry gave her a small nervous smile. The other two attempted the same (though they all came out as more of a grimace.) She smiled back and turned to the hat once more, courage renewed.
With as much courage as she could muster, Pea strode to the stool and sat down. Her eyes automatically snapped shut when the hat was placed on her head.
Er.... Hello? She tried tentatively, unsure how this worked. Her parents had proved most useful, deeming it better she learn by experience.
Ah! A new Black! And it seems you've come with more Potters, Lupins and Pettigrews to boot! I do hope you won't cause us as much trouble as your fathers' did. The voice rang through her head, clear as a bell. Pea smiled softly,
No promises there, we can sure put up a fight with out fathers' if truly necessary. Besides, I promised my Dad I would carry on his legacy. The hat gave a booming laugh in her mind.
I can see you will be a troublesome one! Much to like your father, though hopefully your mothers' genes will prove to be more in play. No doubt where to place you, in... The hat actually paused for dramatic effect and Pea mentally rolled her eyes.
Well you don't get out much do you? Get on with it already! The hat huffed in annoyance and grumbled before...
"GRYFFINDOR!" Cheers erupted throughout the hall, centered around the gryffindor table. Pea grinned widely and looked to see her cousins giving her enthusiastic thumbs up. As the ecstatic girl moved to actually skip to her table (A bit uncharacteristically of her.) she could have sworn she caught site of Professor McGonagall raising her eyes to the ceiling and muttering, "Oh lord have mercy..."
