We must figure out some kind of plot for these two. I can imagine that Bellatrix read the article in the Prophet about Tom's horrendous childhood with filthy muggles - perhaps we could use that and maybe have Bellatrix offer Tom a room at her manor, perhaps as a role model for her precious son? I don't know, it's kind of difficult to plot these two all on their lonesome, without having a Desdemona in the middle to get things going.

That is genius! Before reading the article she would have heard a lot of positive remarks about Tom from Desdemona. Although the two may not see eye to eye most of the time, Bella knows she has taught Desdemona well and as such she can trust her judgement. This would mean that when Bella learns of his past, she would pity him and wish to help him have a better future rather than be disgusted by it. She knows Tom is a bright boy. She knows he is capable of achieving great things. And she knows that her family and herself could benefit from his greatness.

My current thread with Riddle at the Gala takes place shortly after he arrived at the Gala, so perhaps we could do a thread set later that night, when Tom has wandered away from his companions and strikes up a conversation with Madame Lestrange.

Bellatrix and Lavinia: Well, the two of them are practically family. Nia is on her way to being the wife of Draco, Bellatrix's nephew. So I think we should have something between these two.

Bellatrix and Elizabeth: Umm...idk if there is anything there. Elizabeth is a French witch that works at Beauxbatons as the Ancient Runes professor. If you can think of anything, go ahead and suggest it.

She is very picky about who to befriend, let alone who to consider family. I imagine Bella would go out of her way to arrange a meeting with Lavinia and assess her closely. If she likes her the two will be on tolerably good terms, if not Bella's goal would be to make her life miserable and if possible drive her off - i am mentioning this because eventually it could lead to a mediating thread between the two females and Draco. Let me know what you think
